                               RESOLUTION NO. 21290
                 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
                  A LIMITED LICENSE AGREEMENT TO ALLOW ORANGE
                  GROVE CENTER, INC. TO USE A PORTION OF THE OLD
                  CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL PROPERTY JOINTLY OWNED BY
                  THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA AND HAMILTON COUNTY.
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 WHEREAS, Orange Grove Center, Inc. (herein sometimes
       "Orange Grove") operates two (2) group homes located at 916
       Glenwood Drive which are directly across the street from the old
       Children's Hospital property which is jointly owned by the City 
of
       Chattanooga and Hamilton County and is currently vacant; and,
       	    	 WHEREAS, Orange Grove has requested the use of the
       former parking lot area located on the old Children's Hospital
       property for additional parking to serve the needs of medical
       staff, visitors and transportation in relation to the group homes 

       located across the street; and,
       	    	 WHEREAS, Orange Grove has agreed to clean and maintain
       the parking lot, install necessary lighting, and provide other
       security measures as needed; and,
       	    	 WHEREAS, the City of Chattanooga desires to aid Orange
       Grove in its efforts to improve the function and security for its 

       group homes located on Glenwood Drive;

                                NOW, THEREFORE,
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute a Limited License Agreement with Orange Grove Center,
       Inc. to allow Orange Grove to use a portion of the old Children's 

       Hospital parking lot, the location and description of said 
parking
       lot shown on copies of the tax map and sketch attached hereto and 

       incorporated herein by reference.
